It’s impossible to mention the Flying Monkey Arts without mentioning Artist Market! The Flying Monkey Artist Market began in 2003 at the old Putman Drive location, and was the catalyst to help open the Lowe Mill building to the public. With a promise to help maintain the floor and a dedication to bringing creative minds together under one roof, Artist Market started at the Seminole Drive building in 2004, where it is still happening every Saturday! This market is a driving force to make art accessible to our community, and a celebration of all things local.

Every Saturday from 10am-4pm (10am-6pm during the holiday season) the Flying Monkey hall bustles with a bright energy from various artist and makers lining the hall with their handmade, original wares and works. From soaps to jewelry, lamps to leather, fine arts to crafts, the Flying Monkey Artist Market is a one stop shop for all your gift giving needs, and you’re bound to fine something for yourself too!

Our Artist Market vendors are the heart of the Flymo, showing up and supporting the scene, some nearly every week. Almost all of our studio artists started off as Artist Market vendors at one point, contributing to our community, learning about how it all works and adding their own passion. Stop by on any Saturday from 10am-4pm and meet the wonderful artists who help make the Flying Monkey possible.
