WHAT'S ELIGIBLE?

Your entry must be made from used items that would otherwise be thrown away or recycled.

There are no limitations on size or format. However, we do ask that it be safe - no rough edges and it must be sturdy.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE?

Anyone may enter.
All entries must be accompanied by a parent or guardian signature indicating approval if contestant is under 18.
All entries must be submitted with a $5 entry fee.

THE DEADLINE:

All entries must be received on April 12, 2008 at Flying Monkey Arts between noon and 4pm.
All entries must be picked up by artist on April 26, 2008 (noon-4pm), unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time.

HOW TO SUBMIT ENTRIES:

Complete the Online Recycled Art Contest Entry Form and email it to rac@flyingmonkeyarts.org or come by Flying Monkey Arts, 2211 Seminole Dr, during a regularly scheduled event to fill out a form.

You may enter as many pieces of artwork into the contest as you like, but be sure to fill out a form for each entry.

Home Address
Home Phone Number
E-Mail Address (if you have one)
Indicate whether it is an Individual or Group Entry
Age Group (12 and under, 13 - 17, 18 and over)
Title for Artwork
Dimensions/Size of Artwork
Materials Used to Construct Artwork
Sale Price (If Applicable)
If you are shipping your entry to us, you must include payment if you would like your artwork returned.

$5 ENTRY FEE!

You will receive an email as a confirmation that we have received your entry and have reserved your space.

Please bring your own easel if needed.

THE EXHIBITION

The exhibition will take place at Flying Monkey Arts, 2211 Seminole Dr in Huntsville, Alabama. Awards for the entries will be announced April 19. The entries will remain on display through April 26.

Recycled Art Contest volunteers will be at the Art Contest to provide basic security and give information. You can sell your works by informing us of the sales price. Any art work that is sold can be picked up by the customer at the end of the day.

You do not have to stand by your entry at the Recycled Art Contest, but we hope you will attend to help answer questions about your artwork. Interested customers can purchase your items from contest volunteers at the show. We will forward payment to you at the end of the show.

All entries remain the property of the contestant. The contestant retains all responsibility and liability for their entry.
